Rocking The Boat

Rocking The Boat

Rocking the Boat chronicles the career of a black police officer’s extraordinary and unprecedented determination in challenging a police occupational culture steeped in racism.

The author’s authority on the subject of institutional racism in British policing has been acknowledged time and again, as can be seen by his involvement as a consultant in numerous news and current affairs programmes; the many interviews with him that have appeared in the British media; his invitations to speak at events in France, Canada, South Africa, the UK and the US; and his status as the first British black person ever to be awarded a Fulbright Police Fellowship.

Though some of his views have been well recorded because of these accolades and appearances, in this memoir he presents a uniquely personal insight into these experiences. Spiced with both heart-breaking and entertaining anecdotes, the story of institutional racism and its development and challenges are told here in his familiar but unique voice with a personal angle that will appeal to anyone interested in the history and actual experiences of this current issue.

Though it addresses painful topics, this book is entertaining in addition to being educational. The author’s experiences as a constable on the streets of Croydon, his meeting of US President George W. Bush and his being rescued by a renowned jazz musician when he’s accidentally locked inside an apartment in Harlem, New York are some of the events that provide humorous counterpoints to the heavy main story. More than a simple history lesson, these anecdotes turn the book into a pleasurable read.

The Crossing Point

The Crossing Point

(Tales of the Nephilim Brotherhood)

It’s hard enough for a teenager to navigate through his high school years without having to deal with a sudden, unexpected physical change, like say, two pronounced humps protruding from one’s upper back. Now, imagine finding out such an oddity wasn’t just some cruel courtesy of nature, but actually a pair of wings growing just beneath the skin. For Jacob Parrish, this is only the beginning of a sequence of events he suddenly faces after the death of his beloved mother, and he is visited by a mysterious visitor clad in a long, dark overcoat with eyes the color of two golden suns, who not only reveals himself to be an angel (and a fallen one at that), but informs the boy that he is the son of an angel. Naturally, the revelation is met with disbelief until his grandmother reluctantly brings forth a box, secreted away inside an old trunk, that holds the unbelievable truth long kept from Jacob — that he is indeed, a Nephilim.
So begins Jacob's astonishing journey as he embarks on an incredibly perilous adventure with the mysterious Gotham as his guide. Traveling to the other side of the world, a Gate, hidden in the shadows of an ancient Turkish church, leads the way to a mystical world, where Jacob discovers a treasure trove of abilities he never knew he possessed. While struggling to find the answer to a question purposefully kept from him that has plagued him since he was a small boy, he discovers his birthright and an unforeseen destiny that will change our world.

The Lamb's Testimony

The Lamb's Testimony:

My life as the messiah

Follow me in my journey as I discover who I am and why the government wanted me dead before I had a chance to figure it out. Even after I found out I was the messiah, it took me years to determine the significance of it.

The laws and commands of Moses utilize primitive states of animosity to bait our subconscious into accepting a better form of government. The government outlined by Christ was brought into power by harnessing the primitive exercise of sexual dominion. However, to end the laws and commands that one has been brought in to replace he must undergo a much more extreme version of it. Christ was brutally murdered. I was sold on the idea of true love by aliens and then tortured by them with images of infidelity.
